Craving for Chaos - Deathmetal from Munich, Germany. We know how to skillfully combine pure deathmetal with all sorts of music we enjoy like progressive metal and melodic parts as well as pure Chaos. Founded in 2009, we were able to establish ourselves as support for bands we love like Aborted, Rotten Sound, Napalm Death, Here comes the Kraken, Harakiri for the Sky and many others by having played over 70 shows. We endowed a song for the video game "League of Legends" and won the song contest to the add-on "Pirates of Runeterra". 

Further our diversity is shown by a TV appearance on the German TV network (Ki.Ka) and participated a EU-funded bandcamp for European Union and a guest appearance in the Croatian metal broadcast "Metalurgija" of Radio Pula. 

In 2012 we released our forst 7-song EP "Arising Disorder" (7 tracks, 35 min. running time, jewel case & poster).

In 2013 we moved to a new rehearsal room and Stefanie and the band split their ways in the end of 2013. 2014 we found with Robin a new bass player and played several shows.

In 2015 all of us were busy studying and pushing our private careers, while our rhythm guitar player Monika moved to China to study and work. In august 2016 she returned and the band picked up to play shows again.

In 2017 we worked on new material and the backbone of our upcoming album was written. In the beginning of 2018 Robin and the band split their ways and the look for a new bass player took until 2019. With Yorck joining the band we are finally a combo again.

We recorded the forthcoming album at Voodoo Gates Studio in fall 2019 and mixed and masteres with german tech-metal force Hannes Grossmann in 2020. The single "Apophis" will be released on 24th of december 2020 as well as the album "Brink of Calamity" on 31st of 2020 on all music platforms. The album has 9 songs and a total playtime of 46 minutes.

2015 waren wir alle damit beschäftigt, zu studieren und unsere privaten Karrieren voranzutreiben, während unsere Rhythmusgitarristin Monika zum Studieren und Arbeiten nach China zog. Im August 2016 kehrte sie zurück und die Band startete wieder Shows zu spielen.
2017 arbeiteten wir an neuem Material und das Grundgerüst für unser kommendes Album war geschrieben. Anfang 2018 trennten sich die Wege von Robin und der Band und die Suche nach einem neuen Bassisten dauerte bis 2019. Mit dem Eintritt von Yorck in die Band sind wir nun endlich wieder eine Combo.

Das kommende Album wurde im Herbst 2019 in den Voodoo Gates Studio aufgenommen und 2020 mit der deutschen Tech-Metal-Größe Hannes Grossmann gemischt und gemastert. Die Single "Apophis" wird am 24.12.2020 veröffentlicht - das nachfolgende Album "Brink of Calamity" wird am 31.12.2020 veröffentlicht und hat mit 9 Songs eine Spielzeit von über 46 Minuten.
